Parker Long of Seneca High School has had an exciting season, leading the team in kills, digs, aces, and serve receptions.
“This season is going fantastic,” Long said. “We are 14-9-1 at the moment and I’m extremely proud of the team.”
Long’s favorite memory is getting to spend game nights with her friends.
“My favorite memory is dancing with my team before every game,” Long said. “The bond we have all made is more than I could ever ask for.”
While working in the gym over the summer, Long also worked on her mindset.
“I prepared for this season by changing my mindset and going to weights and putting in the time over summer,” Long said. “Your mindset plays a huge role in the game and if you aren’t playing to the best of your ability at all times then you won’t have the outcome you desire to have.”
While undecided on college, Long has big plans after high school.
“My plans after high school is to attend beauty college to become an aesthetician or go to college to become an ultrasound technician,” Long said. “I’m undecided at the moment.”
