Seneca football player Brian Bigbee recently interviewed with Prep Sports to tell us more about who he is.
PREP SPORTS: What are your personal goals for the year?
Some personal goals for me is to be able to get the younger guys stronger in the weight room and the classes. Just giving them the confidence and help they need.
PREP SPORTS: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I have had would be just all summer going to weights and football practice and just seeing everyone grow throughout it.
PREP SPORTS: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
I can’t really tell you a favorite teacher because I don’t have one. They have all been there for me when I needed it I couldn’t ask for anything better.
PREP SPORTS: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory would be last year when we had the opportunity to play in the semi finals for state. We didn’t win it but we definitely kept it in our minds and will be back for the ring this year.
PREP SPORTS: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
I think the teammate that has left the biggest impact on me would be Christopher Alexander, because he always felt like a leader when I played with him, from encouragement to even just showing us how it is done. And he has taught me to always stay positive and keep everyone up when they are down.
PREP SPORTS: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
I think I would go to California and take my grandpa, he hasn’t been there in a very long time and I have never been on a trip with him.
PREP SPORTS: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would give the money to my parents, to help with anything they need because they have been here through all my ups and downs and I know $500 can’t say thank you enough but it would scrap the surface.
PREP SPORTS: Do you participate in any community service projects?
I sometimes help my mom give out backpacks and school supplies during the summer when I get the chance.
