Head coach Rachel Ayo and the Seneca volleyball team are poised for a solid season with several seniors returning to the lineup.
“This year Seneca is led by a strong group of seniors. Our senior leadership and experience will help lead our team. We are offensively strong and have a wide selection of hitters that can be utilized. It’s going to be a great season,” said coach Ayo. Parker Long (Sr.) is a team captain this season and a 6 rotation player. She is versatile and aggressive at the net. Parker is an outstanding outside hitter. One underclassman to watch this season is Anna Adkins (Fr.). The freshman will assist in tournament play and coach Ayo believes she has great potential.
Tatum White (Sr.) will play RS/DS and is a strong, left-handed hitter with a great serve. White currently leads the team in aces. Also look for Brylee Sage (Sr.), the setter for Seneca. Sage is a role model on and off the court for Seneca.
Other players to watch include Braxton Raulston (Sr.), Jera Jameson (Jr.), Amber Garrison
(Sr.), and Ella Graham (Jr.).
