Throwing Darts with Jace Wilson – Presented by H&R Block Seneca

VYPE: What were your personal goals this year and how is the season going?

Jace: My personal goals were to make it to state and I’m glad I’ve met them. The season was good for me, and I improved a lot.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Jace: The most fun I had would definitely be the lake house we stayed at before districts, we had a blast there.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Jace: My favorite would have to be Mrs. Charles because she is a great teacher who teaches well and makes sure you understand everything.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Jace: My favorite athletic memory would definitely be getting told I would be going to state. I was extremely ecstatic.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Jace: I would say the person that left the biggest impression on me would be Tyler Campbell. He liked to compete like me, so we had a good time and improved together.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Jace: I would like to nominate Tyler again for this. He has good impressions of our coach and says things on the course that make us all laugh.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Jace:  I would pick Hawaii and bring Tyler, Eli, and Brayden with me.

VYPE: Tell us about your teammates. Who is the big hitter? Who can sink the most 10-foot puts? Who throws darts from 120 yards out?

Jace: Our big hitter would be Blake Hurn. Tyler Campbell makes the most 10-foot putts, and I’ll say I throw the most darts from 120 out.

VYPE: Tell us about making the state tournament and what that means to you?

Jace: It means a lot to me because it’s been my goal since I could think about it. I’ve always wanted to make it big, and this is my chance.

VYPE: What is your favorite club to hit and where is your favorite course to play?

Jace: My favorite club would have to be my driver, and my favorite course to play would have to be Payne Stewart.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Jace: I’d like to thank my family for being so supportive of me even when I thought I didn’t have a chance.
