Seneca’s Jera Jameson – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by John Cotten Roofing

This season Seneca athlete Jera Jameson will be striving to “have fun and make the most of my senior year. I will never get this time back so my only goal is to enjoy it to the fullest”. Jameson will be spending some of that time with the Lady Indians on the volleyball court.

“My favorite part of being on this team is the girls. I love the people I play with (including the ones who have graduated), and I also adore Coach Ayo. She has been there and motivated me all four years of high school, and she has also helped me handle life things outside of sports” said Jameson.

Jameson mentioned former teammate Parker Long, saying “she was a great leader on and off the court as well as a best friend. I would give anything to play with her again”. Jameson told Prep Sports that she considers Long to be the teammate who made the biggest impact on her. Together the two competed alongside their team and made Seneca history in what became one of her favorite memories.

Stating “My favorite athletic memory is when Seneca Volleyball won districts for the first time in history and also secured a sectionals win. We had many feats last year and went down in history as the best volleyball team Seneca has had yet”.

Jameson also represents the Indians out in her community throughout her participation JOMO club volleyball.
