In a recent interview with Prep Sports Seneca athlete Blake Hurn spoke about his life and his future goals.

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

I want to do better than last year. I want to at least have 600 receiving yards and 75 tackles.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Most fun I’ve had is playing football with all my brothers.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?

I would say Mr. Roark because he just made everything fun. 

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Winning the district championship last year in football. 

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

I’d say Lincoln Renfro because he always came to practice with a good attitude and was an awesome leader. 

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

Showing up and getting better everyday with my brothers. 

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?

I would go to the Bahamas and I would take some of my friends.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?

I would buy some new shoes and clothes. 

VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?

I have in the past. Picking up trash. 

VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?

I go to church.
