Seneca’s Chas Lankford set out to be a leader this year. Telling VYPE “When you’re part of a group like Band, you have the responsibility to do your part in making the group successful. I’ve tried to contribute to that success.”
Success seems to be something Lankford and the rest of the band have had a lot of this year. Lankford recalled that he had “a successful year in Marching Band and my other activities were a testament to the hard work my fellow students have put in, and I’m so glad to be among their ranks.”
Lankford also shared that he is “so thankful for my Seneca Band family. So many of them have left an enormous impression on me in a positive way. I won’t name them all. Although, no team is complete without a team leader.”
“Mr. Woods and Mr. Jones have put in so much time and effort towards this program, and it shows. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
