VYPE: What were your goals for yourself and your team this season?
Kirsten: My goals for myself personally is to be the best leader and teammate I can be along with my own wrestling goals. My team goals are to gain more girls on the team and see the sport grow.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Kirsten: The most fun I had this year was when we got to go to state and compete, the atmosphere is just incredible.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?
Kirsten: My favorite coach would have to be Coach Jeff Sill because we see a side of him that nobody else does!
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Kirsten: My favorite athletic memory is my sophomore year when I was the first girl from Seneca to make it to state!
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Kirsten: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on my is Dane Napier or Gabe Commons because of the way they deal with their losses and come back even stronger.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during a match?
Kirsten: On my team Lincoln Renfro has the best impression of Coach Kevin Durbin, the funniest person during wrestling matches is Britany Adcock.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Kirsten: If I could go anywhere for vacation I would go to Paris, France because it is so intriguing, and I would take my grandmother.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?
Kirsten: If I had $500 to spend, I would buy the new Rudis Muhammad Ali wrestling shoes and a lot of Rudis wrestling clothing.

Kirsten: I would just like to thank my coaches, Jeff Sill, Kevin Durbin, Meagan Sims, Jamie Williams, Will Roark, and Matt Vernatti for all their support and encouragement throughout the years. I would also like to thank my personal family, especially my parents because of all the time and money they have given up for me to do well in my wrestling career. I wish well to the girls on next year’s team and all the teams.
